Promotion of Croatia and Zagreb tourist offer in Belgrade

Croatian National Tourist Board and Zagreb Tourist Board organized a joint presentation and B2B workshop Sell Croatia that took place on April 21 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Belgrade. Croatia tourism promotion in Serbia, as well as B2B workshop organized for travel agents and hoteliers are very important for both countries. On behalf of the Croatian Tourist Board audience was greeted by Mirjana Resner, Head of fairs and special presentations, and by Martina Bienenfeld, director of the Zagreb Tourist Board.

Serbian travel agents had the opportunity to learn more about Croatian tourist offer and about new travel initiatives, as well as to find out the statistics of tourist arrivals from Serbia and Belgrade for the last and beginning of this year in the capital city of Zagreb. Zagreb tourist offer and update on Zagreb spring and summer events was presented by Danijel Petrović from Zagreb Tourist Board.

At the end of the presentation with the objective of Croatia tourism promotion Serbian agents had the opportunity to participate in the contest whose grand prize was a weekend in Zagreb; stay in a 4 star hotel, tourist guidance and 2 return flight tickets Belgrade – Zagreb – Belgrade sponsored by Air Serbia, while the consolation prize was a monograph of Zagreb.

Workshop Sell Croatia once again showed how important a personal contact is in the business, and also how this type of workshop is essential for the promotion and development of some completely new business ideas.

From the Croatian side at a workshop was attended by eight subjects: Anker Group Ltd. / Lafodia Sea Resort, Asta Yachting Ltd., Hotel Dubrovnik, Hotel Laguna Zagreb, HUP Zagreb, Lošinj Hotels & Villas, Penta, Uzel Tourism Ltd. / Hotel Dubrovnik Palace hotel. The workshop was also attended by 27 foreign companies and 33 participants.

During the organized lunch, and after business meetings, attendees had an additional opportunity for networking as well as for the strengthening of old and creating new business connections.
