After a relaxing flight from Belgrade to Singapore in a wonderful Qatar Airways business class, agents were more than enthusiastic of visiting Singapore attractions. Known as a great business and transit destination in Serbia, Singapore has a wonderful features that deserve to be better recognized and promoted on the Serbian travel market, and therefore the FAM trip initiative was a great starting point to show a leading travel agents the destination as it should be presented through leisure and incentive programs. The FAM trip program combined the most important attractions along with a site inspection of some of the most iconic Singaporean hotels.

The FAM program included the most famous Singapore attractions

Impressive Gardens By the Bay which is sprawling at 101-hectare lot right by the water in Marina Bay really has something special to show. Its futuristic energy shows how far the city goes when approaching the modern traveler. Two huge futuristic structures rise out of the greenery at Gardens by the Bay, and were designed with environmental sustainability in mind. Measuring between 25 and 50 meters tall, these iconic tree-like vertical gardens are designed with large canopies that provide shade in the day and come alive with an exhilarating display of light and sound at night.

More traditional side of Singapore

A part of FAM trip program was also a visit to Singapore China Town which is a very convenient place to have a glance at traditional market life, and a popular place to buy souvenirs. Travel agents also visited the home of Singapore’s Indian community, Serangoon Road and its neighboring side streets which are still today a bustling hive of sights, sounds and intriguing aromas. A rainbow of colors greets you as you wind your way through the streets. Here, one can find handicrafts from Kashmir silk to peacock feathers and flower garlands.

Singapore River Cruise

A scenic tour down the Singapore River on board a vintage bumboat, much like the ones that many of Singapore’s early immigrants depended on for their livelihoods is the attraction that gives you a great overview of Singapore main touristic features. The relaxing river cruise will take you on a journey through time, offering views of the iconic Merlion, the Esplanade, century-old godowns and shop houses, colonial-style government buildings and grand bridges with their quaint light fixtures, as well as the modern skyscrapers that now dominate the city’s skyline.

City of gardens

Wherever you go in Singapore you will always feel like you are standing in the impressive garden. Indeed, our 3 day FAM trip was a breathtaking experience in a full meaning of this words.
